New York International Auto Show begins on 21 March

After the 2008 Geneva Auto Show closed, automakers are shifting their focus to the New York International Auto Show, which will begin at the Jacob Javits Convention Centre from 21 March to 30 March 2008. The show promises to feature some of the hottest cars and trucks, all under one roof.

The show opens its doors to the press from 19 March to 20 March.

The auto show usually opens on or just before Easter weekend and closes on the first Sunday after Easter.

Leading auto manufacturers will display their exhibits, with manyof the exhibits being hand-on, giving the public the opportunity to try sitting in the new vehicles and to explore new technology and features.
