Infotech Ent. and Dassault Aviation sign up for the IAF's MMRCA programme

Saint Cloud, France/ Hyderabad, India: Technology solutions provider, Infotech Enterprises Ltd (IEL), headquartered in Hyderabad has signed an MoU with French defence and civil aerospace major, Dassault Aviation which will see Infotech and Saint Cloud-headquartered Dassault Aviation collaborate on activities related to the proposed medium range multi role combat aircraft (MMRCA) offset programme, launched by the ministry of defence, Government of India.

Dassault Aviation is one of the bidders for this large and strategically important Indian defence programme. Dassault has put up the Rafale fighter as its offering for the 126-fighter contract. Dassault is also contracted by the Indian government to upgrade the Indian Air Force's Mirage-2000 fleet.   

Under the MoU, InfoTech will act as a technology partner to Dassault Aviation and will provide business driven solutions performing engineering, defence related business process and IT services to help the French company satisfy offset obligations.

The MoU will remain valid for a period of 5 years period and can be mutually extended.
