Aviation turbine fuel prices go up 13 per cent

New Delhi: India's major oil firms on Tuesday raised aviation turbine fuel (ATF) prices by over 13 per cent in a move designed to help them match the rise in international oil prices.

ATF price in Delhi has been raised to Rs53,309.30 per kilolitre (kl) from Rs47,048.86 per kl by the Indian Oil Corporation.

In Mumbai, the price has gone up by Rs6,536.35 a kl, to Rs55,191.58 per kl.

For foreign airlines, ATF price in Delhi has been raised to $1,023.40 (Rs41,048.50) per kl from $911.76 (Rs36,570) a kl.

State-run firms consider revision of jet fuel prices on the first of every month.
