Brussels Airlines, Jet Airways extend code-share arrangement to Bangkok

12 Aug 2008

A year after formation the code-share partnership between Brussels Airlines and India's largest private carrier, Jet Airways, is being reinforced with the extension of the facility to flights between Brussels and Bangkok.

Passengers of Jet Airways and Brussels Airlines can now travel between the European capital of Brussels and the capital of Thailand, Bangkok. The Far East city of Bangkok is easily accessible via  direct Delhi-Bangkok flight that perfectly connects to the arrival of the daily Brussels-Delhi code-share service. The same will hold good on the return Bangkok-Brussels route.

The code-share agreement will allow Brussels Airlines to put its SN code on all flights operated by Jet Airways to Bangkok with A330 and B737 aircraft.

Brussels Airlines and Jet Airways have been working in close cooperation ever since Jet selected Brussels as its international hub last year August 2007. The code-share agreement now allows Brussels Airlines' customers to buy tickets for daily Jet Airways-operated flights to Mumbai, Delhi and Chennai.

The agreement also allows Jet Airways passengers to benefit from the extended Brussels Airlines' network offer which provides excellent connections from Brussels Airport to all corners of Europe as well as to 16 destinations in Africa.
