Jet Airways launches daily service to Sharjah from Thiruvananthapuram

Thiruvananthapuram: Jet Airways has commenced daily flights from Thiruvananthapuram international airport to Sharjah, its tenth daily service from the country to the UAE and the 22nd Jet Airways service from India to the Gulf.

The airline, India's largest by number of passengers carried, is operating a daily service from Kochi to Sharjah.

For the new service Jet will be deploying a state-of-the-art Boeing 737-800 aircraft on the route.

The new service, 9W 570, will depart from Thiruvananthapuram international airport on all days at 10.15 am to reach Sharjah at 12.40 hours local time. The return flight, 9W 569, will depart Sharjah at 13.40 hours local time to arrive at Thiruvananthapuram international airport at 7 pm.

Jet Airways currently operates to 24 international destinations.

With this additional flight between India and Sharjah, business customers can enjoy a wide choice of timings throughout the day between India and UAE. The flights are conveniently timed to connect with Jet's domestic network and its fast-growing network to SAARC/ASEAN points, according to the airline.

Jet's Gulf network now serves ten destinations in the MidEast and the service from Thiruvananthapuram will now complement the airline's existing daily Gulf operations to Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Dubai, Doha, Kuwait, Muscat and Sharjah, as well as Jeddah, Riyadh and Dammam from Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai and Hyderabad.
