Boeing to showcase Dreamliner at Indian Aviation Show starting today

As the Indian Aviation Show gets under way today at Hyderabad, and the highlight of the event would undoubtedly be the Boeing 787 Dreamliner from US aircraft maker Boeing.

The theme of the show this year is 'India: The Emerging Aviation Hub'.

The aviation show, which would be inaugurated by civil aviation minister Ajit Singh would close on 18 March.

Global aviation industry titans like Airbus, Boeing, Bombardier, Dassault, Embrear, Gulfstream, Hawker Beechcraft, Piaggio Aero, UAC-Sukhoi, IRKUT-Berieve would participate in the show which will display over 25 aircraft.

This would be the third edition of 'Indian Aviation Show' following the first two conducted in years 2008 and 2010.

The show would be spread across a 6,000 sq metres area for exhibition space and would additionally offer 18 hospitality chalets.
