Bombardier unveils two new business jets

The world's third-largest commercial aircraft manufacturer Bombardier Aerospace, a unit of Canadian transportation giant Bombardier Inc, launched two new business jets Saturday, the Global 7000 and Global 8000, further sytrengthening its leadership position in large business aircraft category.

The new ultra long-range jets will supplement Bombardier's flagship Global aircraft family, which already manufactures the Global 5000 and Global Express XRS models for the corporate community.

''The Global aircraft platform gained instant worldwide recognition for design and performance when it was first introduced in 1996. By extending this great aircraft family, we are once again offering a business jet travel experience that is unmatched and ahead of its time,'' said Steve Ridolfi, president of Bombardier Business Aircraft.

The Global 7000 and Global 8000 jets will give our customers the ability to reach more destinations non-stop than ever before, delivering unprecedented levels of performance, flexibility, and comfort. There has never been a better time to ''Be Global'', Ridolfi added.

Bombardier Aerospace manufactures business jets, Learjet, Challenger and Global series, commercial aircraft C Series, CRJ Series, and Q Series, as well as amphibious aircraft Bombardier 415 and 415MP.
