Andhra Bank and FSS tie-up for e-ticketing service through ATMs

28 Mar 2007

Mumbai: Andhra Bank and Mumbai-based Financial Software and Systems (FSS) have teamed up to enable Visa cardholders, as well as the bank's customers to pay for Kingfisher Airline tickets at any of Andhra Bank's 500 ATMs.

Cardholders, accessing the service, need to initially book a ticket using Kingfisher's toll-free numbers, which will issue them with a unique six-digit booking reference number. Cardholders then have six hours in which to pay for the flight using a Visa credit or debit card at an Andhra Bank ATM. After selecting the e-ticketing payment option on the ATM, cardholders are required to key in the booking reference number.

Once the ticket is paid for, a 'passenger reservation number' is printed on a receipt, which can be exchanged by the passenger for a boarding card at the airport.
