British Airways opts for four additional 777-200 ER aircraft

London: Boeing and British Airways have signed up for a deal for four Boeing 777-200 ER jetliners, valued at more than $800mn at list prices, as part of an expansion of the airline's long-haul fleet.

British Airways is Europe's largest operator of the jetliner with a fleet of 43 Boeing 777s. It retains options for four additional 777-200 ER aircraft.
