Lynn de Souza to represent India at Cannes

The Media Lions jury for the 56th Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival has been announced. 

This year, Lynn de Souza, chairman & CEO, Lintas Media Group will representing India  on the jury. The members of the jury has been increased by five people to facilitate the lengthy judging and discussion procedure.

This year  a revision of the categories, changes to the entry written submission, restructuring the way Media Lions will be judged to reflect the three crucial elements of a piece of media work placing more emphasis on the outcome of each media case, will be implemented.

The judging will now be based upon: 

  • Insight, Strategy and the Idea (35 per cent of the jury's vote)
  • Creative Execution (30 per cent)
  • Results and Effectiveness (35 per cent)

The Media Lions winners will be revealed on Tuesday, 23 June 2009
