MTS looking for creative agency

The CDMA-based mobile telephony brand, MTS India, is scouting for a creative agency to handle its business after expiration of the contract with Saatchi & Saatchi.

The media mandate is handled by MPG India, a division of Havas Media.

It had called a pitch for the same. The interested agencies were to come up with creative ideas for the brand, afaqs reported.

The first round being over, results of the pitch are expected to be out by 10 August. The account size is pegged around Rs 200 crore.

MTS India is a joint venture between Shyam Telecom and Russia's Sistema, with licenses in 21 telecom circles in India. As of 30 April, 2010 the total subscriber base of MTS India is 4.5 million in 12 circles.
