In addition to K V Sridhar, national creative director of Leo Burnett, the New York Festivals Advertising Awards has nominated three more Indians, for the special New York Festivals Creative Achievement Awards.

The three senior professionals from the advertising industry are Piyush Pandey, executive chairman and NCD India and South Asia, O&M; Prasoon Joshi, executive chairman and regional creative director, APAC, McCann Erickson; and Josy Paul, chairman and national creative officer, BBDO India.

Theses creative achievement awads are presented to some of the most talented and respected creative leaders in Asia. The awards are being held at Shanghai, where Neil French and Joe Sedelmaier would be awarded the NYF Lifetime Achievement Awards.

K V Sridhar will be attending the Awards ceremony in Shanghai, which will be held outside the US for the first time. The award recognises Pops' extensive contribution to the Indian advertising industry, raising the creative standards of the office and the region, and the agency's fine performance at various awards shows over the past years.

NYF, too, has planned a series of awards and speaker sessions around the globe.

Among the highlights of the Awards in Shanghai is the 'One Afternoon With Neil French' session. Joe Sedelmaier, the brilliant award winning commercial director known for his quirky humour and off beat casting for clients such as FedEx, Wendy's and Alaska Air, will be presented with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Chicago launch of the seven city 2009 World Tour.
