Young Achievers Awards announced

The Young Achievers Awards were declared yesterday. The Awards were divided into two segments - Creative and Business - which were then sub-categorised to a total of nine awards.

Creative segment

  • The Creative Person of the year award went to Shirin Johari of O&M for HSBC's swimming pool.
  • Ritu Trivedi of Lodestar Universal scooped the Media Person of the year award for
  • Amul --To think the unthinkable: The Amul Way.
  • The Art Director of the year award was won by Hetal Ajmera of JWT India for SNC Jewels' Diamond Robberies Planner.
  • The award for the best Copywriter went to Simone Patrick of JWT India for DTC's Lead India Poised.
  • Amit Sharma of Chrome Pictures Limited won the best movie maker award for Idea-Caste War.

Business segment

  • Anuj Singh (Red FM) - the 'Business Leader'
  • Shivani Suri Dhanda (Reliance Communications) and Harman Dhillon (HUL) - Best Brand Marketer
  • Ritu Trivedi (Lodestar Universal) - Best Media Person was the work for Amul
  • Monaz K Todywalla (Madison Media) was Best Digital Person for the work for Cadbury Dairy Milk
  • Shekhar Banerjee (Madison Communications) bagged the Big FM Radio Award for the work for Brand Saffola.
  • The Jury for the Creative and Business segments was chaired by Abhijit Avasthi, Executive Creative Director, South Asia, O&M India, and Sanjay Behl, Head of Branding, Reliance Communications Ltd, respectively.
