Mogae Digital launches 'Garden of love'

Mogae Digital has launched a digital 'Garden of Love', a venture promoted by Sandeep and Tanya Goyal, who are also the Indian JV partners of advertising giant Dentsu in India.

Earlier this month Malaysia's Astro Group had picked up a 50-per cent stake in Mogae Digital.

"The Garden of Love is a 24x7 garden of digital blooms, active 365 days of the year, because love as an emotion cannot be restricted to just one day in the year," says Tanya Goyal, director, Mogae Digital. "Our Garden allows young (or not-so-young) romantics to send a flower of love anywhere, anytime, to their friends or partners," she explains.

In the Garden of Love, users can choose between choices of three flowers, each of which comes in four colour options. The most interesting feature of the Garden is that once gifted and planted, the flower needs to be kept alive through a regular dose of nourishment, sunshine and water.

Watering can be done by the couple themselves, or by their friends and well-wishers, each time with a nice personalised message.

If the flower is not properly tended and watered, it starts to wither. Alerts then go out to the couple that their flower of love is dying and needs immediate attention and watering.

"Romance as a market is still underleveraged on the Net in India. The intent with this product is to make love a year-round activity, which it any case is," added Tarun Chaudhary, marketing head of Mogae.
