Ayodhya: Judgment to be available online 40 minutes after pronouncement

The Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court will today pronounce its judgment on the 60-year-old Ram Janam Bhoomi-Babri Masjid dispute with a three-Judge bench delivering verdict at 3.30 pm. The bench comprises Justice SU Khan, Justice Sudhir Agarwal and Justice DV Sharma.

In an unprecedented move the Ayodhya Ram Janambhoomi/Babri Masjid title suit will be made available online a mere thirty odd minutes after the operative part of the judgment is pronounced in court.

The verdict will be accessible at the official website of the Allahabad High Court www.allahabadhighcourt.in and www.rjbm.nic.in.

A copy of will also be sent to the District Magistrate office and additional copies will be made available to the media at a temporary media centre for all to peruse at 4.15pm, a mere forty odd minutes after being pronounced in the court.

Copies of the judgment of all three judges will be made available so as to leave no doubts about which judge has said what.

Litigants and their representatives will also be escorted to the media centre for an organized tete-a-tete with the media.

The Allahabad High Court has gone to extraordinary lengths to ensure transparency in a bid to beat rumour–mongering and mischief-making.
It is reported that the honourable three-judge bench of Allahabad High Court has arrived in the Lucknow High Court premises and is expected to deliver verdict at 3.30 pm.

An intense security blanket has been thrown around the court complex, across the state of Uttar Pradesh as well as the country.
Security of the three high court judges has also been tightened.
