Seminar on Insurance

A seminar is being organised in New Delhi on "How to place a value on an insurance company" by Watson Wyatt Worldwide. Designed to cater to CEOs, senior management, actuaries, shareholders and investment bankers, the topics that will be discussed are valuation of an insurance company, assessing return on capital and application of embedded values.

The seminar will address issues in both the life and non-life insurance sectors. A typical sales process, assessing reserve adequacy and the assessment of profitability and capital requirements of specific product lines will also be covered.

Watson Wyatt Worldwide was formed in 1995 through an alliance between UK's R Watson & Sons with the US-based The Wyatt Company. Today, the company specialises in employee benefits, human capital strategies, technology solutions, insurance and financial services.
