New Delhi: Chhattisgarh Tourism Board has launched its logo in addition to three advertising films made for promoting the State as a tourist destination.

The logo has the byline: 'Full of Surprises' which will also be the baseline for the State Tourism Board. The logo is in bold with a little bit of geography; giving the outline of the State.

The ad films have been based on three surprise features of the State: The Chitrakote waterfalls — the biggest in the country; the Indira Sangeet Vishwavidyala — Asia's only exclusive university of music and the Bastar Hill Mynah — a rare species of bird found only in Bastar.

The Chhattisgarh Tourism Board has worked with Euro RSCG Advertising to develop the script for the film directed by Adfilmvalas.

The Chhattisgarh Tourism Board is a nascent organization and is in the process of placing the State on the travel map. With half the Sate being under forest cover the emphasis on green tourism. For both ecological as well as economic sustainability special interest / niche tourism offering high value with low impact would be targeted at the initial stage.
