Donald Trump announces launch of first Indian project in Pune

US real estate business tycoon Donald Trump plans to put up a 22-storied residential twin tower project in Pune, marking his entry into India.

"Trump Organisation's first project in India, Trump Towers Pune, will epitomise inspired living and timeless elegance," Donald Trump, said on the micro blogging website Twitter yesterday, to announce his entry into India's booming real estate market.

"A pair of sleek ultra-modern towers that redefine the Pune skyline, Trump Towers Pune marks the entry of the Trump brand of luxury and elegance in India," the company said on its website.

The Trump Towers Pune will have 44 luxurious single-floor condominiums, the price of which has yet to be been announced.

The project is scheduled for completion by 2015.

Trump Tower Pune would be developed by Panchshil Realty, leading real estate developer in the city, located in upscale Kalyani Nagar neighbourhood.
