Lamborghini's Alpha One features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, 4 GB RAM and 64 GB expandable memory. It comes with a 3,250 mAh battery and sports a 5.5-inch display.

The phone is available online as also at the luxury store Harrods in London and in the Dubai Mall, among a number of other stores in the UAE.

''Alpha One combines cutting-edge mobile technology and unique features with the inimitable style and design of our brand,'' vice president of the company Ferruccio Lamborghini said.

According to Tonino Lamborghini, the company which makes the luxury phone, Alpha-One is made with ''the finest materials,'' such as handcrafted Italian leather and liquid alloy (''stronger than titanium'') built for corrosion resistance.

The phone ships with Android 7.0 Nougat operating system right out of the box, but according to commentators, any OS updates in the future may be ruled out.
