New Delhi-based Lemon Tree Hotels today announced the launch of its second upscale, full-service, contemporary business hotel in Bengaluru.

Over the last six years, the product-service mix of Lemon Tree Hotels has evolved, culminating in this upper upscale hotel offering today, the company said in a statement.

''This is our second hotel in the city. The upbeat business environment and exponential growth of Bengaluru is attractive to our product offering, a world class, affordable and upscale hotel product,'' said Patu Keswani, chairman and managing director, Lemon Tree Hotels.

The hotel chain said that it will add seven hotels to its existing hotels across India, taking its count to 20 in 15 cities across the country.

''Our profitable growth has been driven by an end-to-end business model which has led to a 60 per cent year-on-year growth in rooms over the past five years. At Lemon Tree, we design, build, own and operate all our hotels. This ensures that our customer's experience is consistent across India,'' added Keswani.

Located on Benagaluru's St John's Road, Lemon Tree is equipped with a fully-equipped business centre and conference facilities, fitness centre, the rooftop swimming pool and a rejuvenating spa.

On the culinary front it has the Citrus Café, recreation bar and lounge Slounge, and Times Food Guide 2010 award winner Republic of Noodles.

Founded in September 2002 by Patu Keswani, Lemon Tree Hotels is currently owns and operates 13 hotels that offer over 1200 rooms in 10 cities.
