Next Gen Publishing introduces online editions

Next Gen Publishing, has introduced online editions for nine titles. Earlier it had outsourced the digitisation to US-based digital publishing solution provider Zinio.

FHM (For Him Magazine), Mother & Baby, Car India, Commercial Vehicle, Bike India, Computer Active, Smart Photography, Ideal Home and Garden and PowerWatch are the nine titles that now have digital versions identical to the print ones.

H S Billimoria, CEO, Next Gen Publishing, said, ''We expect our partnership with Zinio to give us a head start in the world of digital and interactive publishing.''

The digital versions are priced lower than the print editions and are available at Zinio.com through subscriptions.  

Zinio will also help Next Gen to distribute and market digital copies of magazines.

Zinio, founded in 2000, digitises the print editions of various popular magazines including The Economist, Harvard Business Review, Reader's Digest, Open, Marie Claire, Maxim, Lonely Planet and others.

Zinio also acts as an online distribution platform, where users can subscribe to or purchase the digital editions of more than 50,000 magazines and books in 15 languages.
