Mumbai: Nokia on Monday launched four devices in Bangalore under its Eseries umbrella - Nokia E50, Nokia E60, Nokia E61 and Nokia E71.

These devices, placed in the price bracket of Rs19,000-Rs20,000, offer secure mobile access, advanced voice and data functionalities and combine features of e-mail, connectivity options and voice quality. The new devices are the first mobile handsets in the industry to support remote device management based on OMA DM, which allows IT managers to remotely configure, control and protect corporate data on handhelds through remote device access, application management and customisation.

The company disclosed that mobile email, mobile calendar and access to the internet were the most popular of all applications, and expects that there would be 500,000 enterprise mobile users in the next three years.

Nokia is enhancing its retail presence from the current 1,000 to 6,000 stores in an aggressive marketing drive. The company is identifying partners for the Eseries in its existing distribution system; through value-added resellers and also in conjunction with operators.
