Shemaroo ties up with Israel mobile and communication association

Shemaroo Entertainment has tied up with the Israel Mobile and Communication Association (IMA), to explore new business opportunities in India along with IMA's member companies.

The IMA is an organisation with over 100 member companies, and serves as an innovation hub. Its portfolio of companies offer a large number of VAS solutions as well as infrastructure, network efficiency and optimisation solutions.

"As a strategy, Shemaroo has always focused on new media and digital distribution platforms as new ways of distributing content," said Hiren Gada, director, Shemaroo Entertainment. "In fact, Shemaroo has been a catalyst in the industry's shift from the physical to the digital media."

This partnership between Shemaroo and IMA aims to bring innovative products and solutions to the Indian mobile segment. The two have planned a number of activities as part of this collaboration, starting with a road show to introduce the Indian mobile operators to IMA and showcase a few of their member companies.

Six Israel companies are participating in this road show and will present their innovative ideas and solutions to all mobile service providers in India like Airtel, Vodafone, Reliance, Tata, Idea, and BPL among others.
