Shuttle Endeavour is back on earth after record-setting mission to ISS

The space shuttle Endeavour and its crew have landed at Kennedy Space Centre yesterday, finishing a 16-day record-setting mission to the International Space Station (ISS)to install a Japanese laboratory and a Canadian repair robot, NASA said.
The Endeavour astronauts installed part of a Japanese-built laboratory called Kibo, and a Canadian robot called Dex during their 12-day docking at the international space station.
The mission also included five spacewalks - the most ever embarked upon in a single mission and Endeavour commander Dominic Gorie late Sunday described the mission as an all-around success.
The Endeavour's mission, which went by practically without a hitch, was greeted with enthusiasm at NASA.
The shuttle's touch down at Kennedy Space Centre had been delayed by 90 minutes due to poor weather conditions.
