Tumble Tots targets southern tiny tots

Chennai: Tumble Tots India the company that runs physical play programmes for children for six months to seven-year olds has decided to grow its business through franchisee route. The company says it will initially target the southern states before expanding further into other regions.

According to managing director Shankar Santhiram, "Tumble Tots presents an exciting first-of-its-kind franchise opportunity to entrepreneurs in India ". However he didn't say the number of franchisees the company intends to appoint.

Tumble Tots programmes in India as in the rest of the world will be segmented into three categories. These are Gymbabes for children from six month to when they begin walking, with parental involvement that will help stimulate and encourage babies to use all their senses. Tumble Tots is for children when they start walking to school, with parental participation that will encourage children to climb, jump and participate in other elementary activities and will help stimulate body awareness. Gymbobs is for children who are starting school to seven years and is more demanding as the children will have to work with and without equipment and will be introduced to teamwork and relays.

The sessions will provide challenging and interesting activities combined with fun, excitement and challenge in a safe and caring environment using unique equipments.
