US logistics technology firm OnProcess looking for acquisitions in India"We are targeting companies of sizes up to about $25 million with staff strength of about 250-300 in verticals in which we are already present," said Edward Barry, chief executive of OnProcess.

The company, which entered India three years ago by buying out BPO outfit BNKe Solutions, is expanding by setting up a second base in Noida.

"We started off in India three years ago, acquiring BNKe Solutions based out of Kolkata with staff strength of about 350 people. It was a seamless integration for us. Since then we have expanded operations, and now Kolkata OnProcess has over 1,500 professionals. We have two centres in Kolkata and we are planning to set up another base, in Noida, which is expected to be ready between January and March 2015," Barry said.

He said the Noida centre would cater mainly to maintaining business continuity by providing 24x7 uninterrupted service. "We are growing and as per our current global trends we would expand our Kolkata facility, hiring close to 400 within a year," he said.

"Over the last two years, we transformed our company from a primarily reverse logistics company to offering a host of service offerings in supply chain management," Barry said.

He said OnProcess is planning growth in other countries as well.

"Globally, we are expanding in Costa Rica and considering the Philippines. While we were also thinking about China but that might not happen," Barry said.

With clients like McAfee, Lexmark, Verizon, Alcatel, Cisco, Dell, GE Healthcare, HP, Suzlon and Everest, OnProcess has seven global delivery centres in Massachusetts in the US, Sofia in Bulgaria among other places apart from two centres in Kolkata providing services like inbound service triage, service order management, management of component, labour dispatch, reverse logistics and asset retrieval.

Currently, OnProcess has a staff strength of 2,200 across its global centres and its businesses are growing at 26-20 per cent annually.
