Olive Telecom launches 3.5G tablet OlivePad VT100

Olive Telecom has launched India's first 3.5G tablet OlivePad VT100, designed for operation as a multi functional device. Olive Pad runs on Google Android Operating System. It supports both Bluetooth, 3.5G High Speed Uplink Packet Access (HSUPA), Wi-fi.

The OlivePad VT100 incorporates an in-built 3 megapixel camera and a front camera. Its multiple functionalities allow it to be used as a touch notebook for browsing and for instant messaging and social networking, It offers multimedia, GPS for maps, allows turn by turn directions and additionally can serve as a gaming console and as e-book reader and TV. It is also has smartphone functionality allowing voice and video calling.

The device's other features include flash support and mini USB port. The OlivePad will be in retail stores across India in August.
