Limelight Networks to acquire EyeWonder for $110 million

Limelight Networks Inc, whose softwares help speed delivery of web content, yesterday enterd into a deal to acquire privately-held interactive digital advertising provider EyeWonder Inc for up to $110 million in cash and stock.

Arizona-based Limelight Networks, which reported revenue of $129.5 million in 2008, with a 2009 projection of $140-$150 million, expects to breach the $200million in 2010 with the acquisition of Eye Wonder.

EyeWonder has a revenue of about $35 to $40 million annually.

In May, Limelight acquired video ad insertion firm Kiptronic in May for approximately $12 million.

Founded in 1999, Eye Wonder is a privately-held company with headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia and has about 250 employees.

With its superior technology, products and services, EyeWonder helps advertisers, advertising agencies and content publishers to create, build, deliver, track and optimize interactive advertising campaigns proven to drive industry-leading results. EyeWonder's advertising serving platform is projected to service over $500 million in media spend globally in 2009.
