BBH India has brought on board Raj Kamble as managing partner and head of creative of its office in Mumbai.

Kamble comes from BBDO WorldWide, New York, where he was senior vice-president and creative director on the global P&G and Gillette businesses.

He will start BBH operations in May where he will work along with managing partners Subhash Kamath, Partha Sinha and Paul Ward, who joined BBH India from Singapore office last month.

Russell Barrett was handling the creative function at the agency after the exit of Priti Nair from the agency.

"Kamble is not just a great creative who thinks outside the box. He's spent 10 years living outside the box. He excites me because he is talented, enthusiastic and hungry," said Sir John Hegarty, worldwide creative director of BBH Group.

On joining BBH, Kamble said: "BBH doesn't just do great award winning work, but they build brands and are, I believe, the only agency in the world that has done it consistently over the last 20 years."

Kamble has worked in Mumbai, London and New York and has won multiple awards, including Clios, Cannes, D&AD and One Show. Prior to BBDO World Wide, he was with Lowe Worldwide for 11 years.
