'Colourless' is the most preferred colour choice car buyers

More consumers are opting for white or white pearl as their vehicle's colour of choice. Infact, vibrant reds and flashy yellows are taking a back seat when it comes to the most popular car colour.
According to a Forbes auto report, silver, which was the most popular car colour for the past seven years, ranks second in the car colour popularity contest, followed by black in the thrid place.
Auto experts indicate other colours, such as red, are also gaining ground. While brown, which used to have negative connotations like ''dirty'' and ''muddy'' back in the 1980s is becoming popular, thanks to the coffee brown variant.
General Motors designers indicate that automobile paint is not only tested for the effects of extreme weather and looks but also the adhesion properties of the chemicals.
