Airbus has rebranded its business jet models and also unveiled a new logo for its Airbus Corporate Jets division. As part of the rebranding exercise, each corporate jet model will now be preceded by ''ACJ''.

Interior of an ACJ319The A318 Elite, for instance, will now become the ACJ318 and so on for the ACJ319 and 320 models, all the way up to the largest of all its business jets, the superjumbo ACJ380.

This was done ''to show the commonality we have throughout the family,'' said Airbus Corporate Jets vice president Francois Chazelle. ''The length of the fuselage may change, but you're still in an Airbus corporate jet.''

The rebranding also includes a new colour scheme, with metallic blue shading on most of the ACJ fuselage and tail, ''highlighted by flowing curves that echo the colour schemes often chosen by Airbus corporate jet customers,'' the company said.

The jets also will sport a new Airbus Corporate Jets logo.
