Air-India Express to start daily Doha-Kerala services soon

Doha: Air India Express will soon start daily services between Doha and Kerala. Airline officials said that the daily service would start latest with the summer schedule, by March –end, maybe earlier.
With the new flights, the budget carrier will have 13 flights a week from Doha to India – three to Mumbai, three to Mangalore, five to Kozhikode, two to Thiruvananthapuram and daily to Kochi. Officials said that this will increase capacity by 30 per cent to and from Doha.
The Kochi service would be split with either Kozhikode or Thiruvananthapuram, with flights on certain days going non-stop to Kochi and via Kozhikode or Thiruvananthapuram on other days.
The new services would first target the Kerala market and eventually Mumbai and Delhi.
