India's Aviotech signs up for 10 Sukhoi Business Jets

Zhukovsky: Sukhoi Civil Aircraft, maker of the Superjet 100 airliner, has signed a letter of intent with Indian corporate jet service provider, Aviotech, for the supply of ten Sukhoi Business Jets (SBJ), Sukhoi president Vladimir Prisyazhnyuk said Thursday. The SBJ is the VIP version of its Superjet aircraft.
The agreement includes options for another ten planes, Prisyazhnyuk said
The Sukhoi Superjet 100 is a joint venture of Russia's Sukhoi and Italy's Alenia Aeronautica.
Hyderabad-headquartered, Aviotech Corporate Jet Services (ACJS), is looking to provide the highest standards of VVIP corporate jet services in the country and outside. It says that its aircraft will provide seven star luxury experiences at a fraction of the cost of owning or chartering a private jet.
ACJ aircraft will be fully assigned to each client and based at a location and personalized to suit their requirements.
The company is in the process of building up alliances and/or partnerships with other luxury brands, hotel chains, fashion houses and a network of luxury concierge services to provide a boutique of rare exclusive and extraordinary experience.
The aircraft will have a range of nearly 8,000 kilometers with additional fuel tanks in the cargo compartment. It will carry passengers on long routes like from Paris to New York.
Several airliner manufacturers have developed VIP versions of small airliners, including the Airbus ACJ and the Boeing 737 BBJ.
