10 Tata companies participate at Aero India 2013

This year 10 Tata group companies, including Tata Consultancy Services and Tata Steel, are showcasing their design to manufacturing expertises at Aero India 2013.
Organised by the ministry of defence, Aero India 2013, is an international exhibition on aerospace, defence and civil aviation. The five-day bi-annual military and aerospace spectacle is being held at Bangalore from February 6 to February 10, 2013.
The Tata Group is displaying its design to manufacturing capabilities, including a range of solutions in the aerospace sector such as creative design, innovative engineering, programme management, manufacturing strength, simulation studies, product life cycle management among others.
Tata Power, Tata Advanced Materials, Tata Advanced Systems, Tata Elxsi, Tata Industrial Services, Tata Technologies, TAL Manufacturing Solutions Ltd and Titan Industries are the other Tata group companies taking part in the expo, the group said in statement.
The Tata Group comprises more than 100 operating companies in seven business sectors, with operations in more than 80 countries. The group had revenues of $100.09 billion in 2011-12, with 58 per cent of this coming from overseas.
