Ramco Systems signs up over 300 ERP clients in aerospace and defence

Chennai: Software company, Ramco Systems, has signed up over 300 new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) clients in the aviation, aerospace and defence industries. This is a part of the company's recent Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) Enterprise Resource Planning offering for the aviation, aerospace and defence industry, the company said in a statement today.
Ramco systems is a part of $875 million Ramco Group, which is a conglomerate of 18 companies ranging from textiles, cement, software systems, fibre cement products to wind energy.
Ramco's aviation manufacturing applications are suitable for those organisations seeking the power of large-scale ERP applications as a SaaS model. Customers need to pay on subscription basis. The manufacturing suite provides unification of engineering, supply chain, sales and service management.
''Ramco is proud to be able to offer manufacturers in the aviation, aerospace and defence industry a choice in enterprise solutions. Our 20 plus years in the industry has allowed us to continue our tradition of creating industry best practice solutions and since our launch of Ramco OnDemand ERP (RODE), we have signed over 300 new clients,'' the Ramco Systems corporation president, Jim Fitzgerald, said.
Some Ramco aviation customers include Pinnacle Airlines, Conair, Air Methods, Era Helicopters, Aeromexico Connect, Republic Airways and Air New Zealand.
Currently, the company has 14 offices across India, US, Canada, West Asia and in South Africa, the statement added.
