AB-Inbev engages Wieden+ Kennedy Delhi for Budweiser

New Delhi: Following a multi-agency pitch, AB-Inbev India has engaged Wieden+Kennedy (W+K) Delhi to work on its Budweiser brand.
W+K Delhi will also be strategising for Stella Artois and Tennents brands from AB-Inbev. The first phase of the assignment is due to start immediately. Though furhter details are unavailable at the moment, W+K personnel are reportedly sampling large quantities of the product - purely for research purposes, the agency assures us.
In January 2010, Wieden+Kennedy had announced winning the Park Hotel business for overall brand development and the launch of its two new properties, The Park, Hyderabad, Apsara cruiser and The Park on Vembanad Lake.
Established in November 2007, W+K Delhi's clients include Nokia, the tourism ministry's Incredible !ndia global campaign, eBay.in and Chevrolet, as well as several new 'tiger brands' from India's fastest-growing market categories, including Royal Enfield Motorcycles and IndiGo.
