Cannes Lions 2011: India bags four metals on final day, ends with 24 metals

India fared well on the final day of Cannes Lions 2011 by bagging four metals, taking its total metal tally to 24 including four gold Lions.
BBDO India bagged the Creative Effectiveness Lion for its work on Gillette 'Women Against Lazy Stubble', in the first year of the category.
Ogilvy & Mather India also picked up gold Lion for 'Best Use Of Music' for its film 'Train' created for Indian Railways in the Film Craft category.
In Film Lions, Mudra Communications and JWT both managed to convert their shortlists into bronze Lions.
Mudra won the bronze for its Silent National Anthem film for BIG Cinemas in the category 'Corporate Image' while JWT's Endless Goodbye film for Bharti Airtel won it the bronze Lion in 'Commercial Public Services' category.
The Grand Prix winners of the day were Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO London for PepsiCo 'Sandwich' in Creative Effectiveness; Droga5 for Puma's 'After Hours Athlete' in Film Craft and 'Decode Jay-Z with Bing' in Integrated; and W+K Amsterdam for Nike's 'Write The Future' in Film Lions.
