14 Aug 2009
Creativeland Asia has launched its student arm – YoungCreative.org. YoungCreative.org is an initiative to bring together the most creative minds from the student community from various backgrounds like management schools, design schools and graduate colleges.
Speaking on the initiative, Raj Kurup, chairman and chief creative officer, Creativeland Asia, said, ''Creativeland Asia has always believed in the unbridled talent that youngsters bring to the table. Youth is where this talent is at its peek. We'd like to tap this unexplored, undiscovered talent force and give them a platform to create something refreshing.''
He further said, ''The role of this arm will be to help young creative people tap their potential before they get into the corporate rigmarole and get jaded. This arm will be actively working on live projects – from content creation, to design, to research projects, to creative projects across disciplines, to product ideas, to advertising ideas, to business ideas.''
YoungCreative.org is a platform for creative students from all disciplines to showcase their ideas, thoughts and creativity. It aims to be a movement to give young minds the opportunity to interact with real brands, work on brand strategies and conduct market researches. There are also opportunities to create content for television, web and cinema.
YoungCreative.org gives a virtual office/ studio, where one can network with like-minded, young creative people, while simultaneously seeking guidance from established writers, designers, branding and marketing experts from across the globe. It has a stringent selection process to handpick only the best young minds.
