Festival of media awards releases 2010 shortlist

The Festival of Media Awards (FMA), the world's first global festival of creativity in media since 2007, has released its shortlist for the 2010 awards to be held on 20 April in Valencia, Spain.
The FMA judges campaigns across the world for creativity, innovation and media professionalism. Some of the categories in FMA include best communication / entertainment platform, best communications strategy, the consumer benefit award and media innovation of the year.
Amongst the contenders for the awards, Nike tops the table of brands with nine campaigns in the shortlist, with Snickers and Gillette coming in second and third place.
Havas tops the contenders list with 20 shortlisted entries, closely followed by Mediacom.
The shortlist also includes creative and full service shops such as: DDB Brazil; Goody, Silverstein and Partners; BBDO Argentina and Wieden + Kennedy.
Yahoo! and MTV feature in the media owner of the year category demonstrating that increasingly the best media ideas can come from a diverse range of partners in the communication process.
