Government ropes in 11 agencies for ideas on Commonwealth Games 2010

The Delhi government is planning to launch a Civility campaign, for which it it has invited 11 from the 15 advertising agencies empanelled by it to share ideas in the first phase. The civility campaign will be launched to sensitise Delhiites on dealing with foreigners, in advance of the Commonwealth Games next year.
The Delhi Government has 15 large and mid-sized agencies on its panel for various advertising assignments. These include Mudra, Rediffusion Y&R, Lowe, Dentsu Communications, Leo Burnett, Grey Worldwide, TBWA, Percept/H, Pickle Advertising, Triton Communications, Crayons Advertising, Sobhagya Advertising, Interpub, Span Communications and Pressman.
Of the 11 who were invited, eight agencies participated in the first round of presentations.
Following the first round, five agencies have been shortlisted. These are Lowe, Rediffusion Y&R, Mudra, Grey Worldwide and Dentsu Communications. These agencies will put across their ideas in a second round of presentations.
The brief given to the agencies was, "cityscapes are changing, mindscapes are not. Mindscapes need to be attended to in accordance with the changes taking place in the city."
The campaign will be primarily centred on outdoor media initially.
