The shortlists for the Design and Cyber Lions were announced today at the Cannes Advertising festival.

India has bagged itself seven shortlists in Design Lions with Publicis Communications leading the pack with four entries. Next is Ogilvy India with two shortlists and Redifussion Y&R brings the rear.

The nominated entries for Publicis include three self-campaigns - Beer, Mountain and Sky - for the agency's ''The Publicis Planners' Meet'', held at the agency's headquarters in Paris.

The other entry is for Hewlett Packard in the Posters sub-category.

Ogilvy's shorlisted campaigns are for India Post (Stamps) and Bharatput Bird Sanctuary (Ornithologist) in the Calendars and Stationery sub-categories respectively.

Rediffusion Y&R's entry is in the Non-Alcoholic Drinks sub-category for its ''Thinking Inside the Box'' campaign for Rasna.

India though scored a duck in the Cyber Lions category, which saw no shortlists this year despite 33 entries in comparison to 25 last year.

The winners for both the events will be announced later today.
