Law & Kenneth launches new design division

Law & Kenneth has further strengthened its presence in India with the launch of its new design division, christened Design Law & Kenneth yesterday.

Chief designer Chandan Mahenkar will be responsible for this new division.

Anil Nair, president, Law & Kenneth, said, ''We have launched this division as design is emerging as a strategic tool for brands and business to differentiate and leverage on the premium in marketplace. Today, look, feel and intangibles are leading brands.''

Speaking on the business wins, Nair said, ''We have bagged a new client, Danone, the multinational food company dealing in dairy products. We are doing the entire packaging for the line of products that they are launching in country. We are also in talks with the existing clients of Law & Kenneth clients for designing work.''

Nair further said, ''We will have a small team of designers, planners and business directors at Design Law & Kenneth. We will be getting into all applications of design, including retail designing. The official website will go live on 26 October .''
