MediaCom wins the media mandate for MakeMyTrip

Following a multi-agency pitch, MediaCom has won the media duties for online travel agency, Makemytrip.com.
Mohit Gupta, chief marketing officer, offline marketing, MakeMyTrip, said, "We aim to focus on our communication strategy as part of our aggressive marketing plans. MediaCom as an agency has displayed great calibre and holds promise in successfully executing our communication strategy."
Starcom Worldwide is the incumbent agency for the account. The creative duties for the travel portal are handled by Euro RSCG.

Launched in India in 2005, Makemytrip.com has a presence in 30 locations across India.
