Montblanc releases first television ad featuring Anil Kapoor

Actor Anil Kapoor is promoting a legacy. Montblanc has released its first television commercial ever in India across TV channels in India, created by Meridian communications. It is also the first time that Actor Anil Kapoor and his daughter Sonam will be seen together on screen.
The thought for the TVC comes from the insight that a Montblanc pen is so exclusive and exquisite that behind every Montblanc pen, there is a story. It is a pen meant for those who have the power within them, to write their own destiny.
The film portrays the relationship between a father and a daughter and how the bond between them is further strengthened by the legacy that is imbibed in the pen. The script called for a father daughter duo that could connect with the brand. Anil Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor were the perfect choices, as they possess values that are coherent with Montblanc's brand values.
Dilip Doshi, chairman and managing director, Montblanc commented, "Both, Anil and Sonam convey the message so naturally that it is really heartwarming.''
Rensil D'Silva, executive creative director, Meridian commented, ''It was a big challenge for the Meridian team to come up with the Indian leg of the Montblanc campaign especially since it's such a well established international brand. But I think we have a really interesting campaign and some great star power from Sonam and Anil Kapoor."
Montblanc has been known for generations as a manufacturer of sophisticated and luxurious writing instruments. In the past decade, the product range has been expanded to include exquisite watches, jewellery, writing accessories, luxury leather goods and belts and eyewear.
