Ogilvy India is Agency of the Year, DraftFCB Ulka bags Grand Effie at Effies 2010

The Effies 2010 awards, organised by The Advertising Club Bombay, concluded last evening with Ogilvy India emerging as the 'Agency of the Year', for the second year in a row, followed by Lowe Lintas and the Mudra Group.
Draftfcb Ulka won the Grand Effie for its work for Tata Docomo while Tata Teleservices was the Effie Client of the Year.
Ogilvy won four gold, seven silver and three bronze metals, totaling to a score of 145 points. The agency's 'Pure Cricket' campaign for Adidas and 'Pulsar MTV Stunt Mania' campaign for Bajaj Pulsar won in the consumer products and consumer durables category respectively.
The other two gold Effies were bagged for the popular Zoozoos campaign. 'Vodafone Zoozoos: A Social Media Beacon in India' won in the internet advertising category while 'Vodafone Zoozoos Part Deux- What went into making the sequel bigger than the original' won in the integrated advertising campaign category.
Lowe Lintas and Mudra Group bagged the second and third positions with 90 and 75 points, respectively, while last year's runner-up JWT finished fourth with 65 points.
Lowe Lintas won two gold metals for its 'Jewellery that Makes You Want to Marry' campaign for Tanishq in the consumer products (others) and retail category. Besides the two gold metals, Lintas won two silver and eight bronze metals.
Mudra Group bagged two gold, four silver and one bronze metal. Its campaigns for 3 Idiots, 'The Complete Idiot's Guide to Movie Promotions', won it gold metals in the services (others) and integrated advertising campaign categories.
