OMD India bags media mandate of Renault-Nissan

The Renault-Nissan alliance has awarded the media duties for both the brands to OMD India, part of the Omnicom Media Group that offers integrated media services.
The win comes on the back of a multi-stage media pitch called by the Renault-Nissan alliance, which saw agencies ZenithOptimedia, Starcom and Dentsu participating.
OMD will handle the media duties for all existing and new brands of Renault and Nissan with immediate effect.
Nissan had recently launched the Micra in India while Renault plans to introduce its cars into the Indian automobile sector starting mid-2011.
The creatives for Renault are handled by Law & Kenneth while TBWA India looks after the Nissan account.
OMD's clients include Johnson & Johnson, Intel, Reliance Communications, HP amongst others.
