Onads, Span Communications win G'Five Mobiles account

Chinese handset manufacturer G'Five Mobiles has roped in Onads Communications to handle its creative and Span Communications for its media accounts. The account size is pegged at Rs100 crore.
Onads will be responsible for the creative conceptualisation and execution across mass media including BTL (below-the-line) for the handset provider while Span will handle the entire function of media planning and buying for the account.
The campaign has already been rolled out in the electronic media and is soon expected to take off in the print, OOH and digital media as well.
"It is a huge win for Onads. The account was won on the basis of strong strategic differentiation and exceptional creative work done by Onads. The initial communication has already taken off across TV channels," said Jignesh Maniar, founder, Onads Communications.
Naresh Khetrapal, chief executive officer, Span Communications, said," The communication mix would involve multimedia platforms including print, digital and OOH as it is very important to reach the consumer and trade partners at relevant touch points. The teaser campaign is already being beamed across leading television channels. It would be out through other media shortly."

G'Five, incorporated in 2003, focuses on emerging markets like South Asia, Southeast Asia, Middle-east, Africa, and South America. It has a presence in India, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Nigeria, Kenya, Pakistan, Nepal, Bengal, Peru among others.
