Satrcom global CEO Laura Desmond to head Media Spikes 2009 jury

The eight-member jury for Spikes Asia will be headed by Laura Desmond, global CEO, Starcom MediaVest Group, USA as jury president.

It includes Mark Coad, CEO, OMD, Australia; Mark Patterson, COO, GroupM Asia Pacific; Bertilla Teo, CEO, Mediaedge:cia, China; Mike Cooper, worldwide CEO, PHD Worldwide, Global; Philip Talbot, CEO, Asia Pacific, ZenithOptimedia; Blair Currie, CEO, North Asia, Aegis Media, Japan and Ruth Stubbs, president Asia, Mediabrands Asia Pacific.

"We are truly delighted to bring together at Spikes Asia a great calibre of media professionals who share an in-depth understanding of the business, from within the region and beyond," said Philip Thomas, CEO of Cannes Lions, which, together with Haymarket Media, organises Spikes Asia.

Entries for Spikes Asia are open and to submit entries and for registration.

All the winners, as well as the winner of the Media Agency of the Year award, will be revealed at the end of the newly relaunched Spikes Asia Festival, held at Suntec in Singapore between 16 and 18 September 2009.
