Talwalkars ropes in Carat Media, Guava Creative Solutions

Health club chain Talwalkars Better Value Fitness (TBVFL) has awarded its media and creative duties to Carat Media and Guava Creative Solutions respectively.
The wins follow a multi-agency pitch called by the fitness chain in November. The business will be handled out of Mumbai.
According to reports, Talwarkars is looking at a media mix of TV, digital including social media, mobile marketing and consumer engagement initiatives to drive the brand.
The fitness club in the past has worked with agencies on a project basis.
Nitin Shakdher, vice-president, marketing, TBVFL said that Guava Creative Solutions was chosen for its innovation and consumer insights pertaining to the sector. ''We picked Carat Media for its crisp and clear execution of the planning and buying media strategy,'' Shakdher told afaqs.
Set up in India in October 2009, Guava Creative Solutions is part of the Nomad Group. Carat Media is part of UK-based global marketing communications company, Aegis Group.
