ToyWatch unveils its collections in India

Marco Mavilla, owner and founder of ToyWatch, the world- famous Italian fashion watch manufacturer, launched its collection in Mumbai. Created by couple Mara and Marco Mavilla, the Italian brand, ToyWatch, has been a tremendous success worldwide and is now available in India. He is the pioneer of the new concept of fashion watch, which combines polycarbonate, metal, Swarovski crystals and precious materials such as Mother of Pearl with Rose Gold highlights.

''The Company will soon launch its flagship store in Mumbai followed by similar formats in Bangalore and Delhi. These will be a healthy mix of stand- alone stores and multi brand outlets,'' Nayntara Thacker, head of operations, ToyWatch India, said.
The company has lined up a 3-year business plan for India and proposes to open 100 stores by 2010. The brand, which started out in 2005, has a current turnover of 20 million Euros and has flagship stores in Milano, Rome, Istanbul, Macau and Bangkok. It will be opening one in London as well.
''The ToyWatch brand is synonymous with glamour and luxury, an accessory that has now become a cult, even with international celebrities like Madonna, Naomi Campbell, Leonardo Di Caprio, Michael Jordan, and Oprah Winfrey who have chosen this brand, often requesting their own form of personalisation,'' she added.
In India too celebrities such as Mandira Bedi, Tara Sharma, Arjun Khanna, Sabina Chopra and Narender Kumar enjoy sporting ToyWatch.
ToyWatch in India is being promoted by a group of partners who handle the distribution and sales for the brand. These include Anaheeta Mehta, Urmila Jain and Nayntara Thacker.
ToyWatch is currently launching all of its collections such as Crystal, Skull, Oversize, Ceramic, Sports Chrono, Mother of Pearl, Rock-Candy, including its latest collection of Total Stones, Naked and Strong.
Their Total Stones Collection is about sheer brilliance and more. With its multitude of crystal stones embedded all over the watch, it exuberates lavishness to its maximum. The polycarbonate based Total Stones model is available in dial, bezel and strap in full pavè and has alternative finishes in trendsetting white, pink, blue and luxurious black. The price ranges from Rs12,500 for a bezel to Rs17,500 for a full pavè. The exciting combination of polycarbonate and gems in mineral glass creates an accessory that is perfect for all occasions.
The Naked Collection, Naked Automatic and Naked Tourbillon Limited Edition, is available in two colors, cold and elegant steel black and super glamorous rose gold. Both models, assembled with four hex screws, have sword-shaped hands and Arabic numerals in the steel version, and Roman numerals in the rose gold one. The range is priced at Rs24,150 for the Naked Automatic and Rs249,000 for the Naked Tourbillon: Limited Edition. Currently, two of these coveted limited edition watches are for sale in India.
